"You give me back a poco loco, a poquititito loco!"

In Mexico, Miguel, a 12-year-old boy, dreams of becoming a musician and following in the footsteps of his idol, the iconic guitarist Ernesto de la Cruz. Unfortunately for him, Miguel’s family banned music since his great-great-grandfather, a musician, abandoned them and never returned. No one knows what happened to her, except maybe Mamé Coco, Miguel’s great-grandmother, but she has some little memory issues.

Never mind, Miguel braves the forbidden of his family and decides to go play in the town square during the celebration of El Dia de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, where families pay tribute to their ancestors.

Then begins for him an incredible initiatory journey between two worlds, that of the dead and that of the living, linked by memory and music.
